I often get asked about sharing best practices for entrepreneurs and will be sharing some of these with you on Mondays to get your creative juices going for the week to come.

The question I get the most often, is “how can I be more productive?  I only have 24 hours in the day and don’t seem to be accomplishing what I need to.

As an entrepreneur you are supervising every department of your company and people are relying on you to have a vision, come up with new ideas, generate sales,  manage your team, etc.

It’s really difficult to do all of this if you as a person are not spending some time on yourself to prepare the day ahead instead of heading straight into emails, calls, social media, resolving issues and trying to reinvent the world.

I would like to share some tips on shaping your morning routine that have worked for me.  Trust me it has taken time to be able to get there as a wife, mom & entrepreneur.

Finding the right balance is key.

1. MOVE (15 minutes)

Move your body and awaken your brain gently.

Running, walking, home workout, yoga, fitness app, etc.

2. EAT (15 minutes)

Healthy body, healthy mind.

Prepare your breakfast and enjoy it.

3. LEARN (15 minutes)

Learn something new.

Read a book, listen to a podcast, watch a TED talk.

4. PRIORITIES (15 minutes)

List 2 priorities for the day that will have an impact on your business.

Accomplish these tasks before you turn on your phone & emails.

Try your version of this and see how it works for you.
You can download the below picture as a recap.

Enjoy!
